Preparation
1. Rehydrate the TVP in 1 cup of boiling vegetable broth.
2. Add the rehydrated TVP, garlic, ginger, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, green onions, and five-spice powder to the food processor. Pulse until the desired texture is reached.
3. Prepare the homemade dumplings by adding a generous teaspoon per dumpling sheet and shaping them into the desired form.
4. Steam the dumplings for about 10-12 minutes if your dumpling sheets are thin and about 15 minutes if your sheets are thicker.
5. While the dumplings are steaming, toast the edamame and corn in a little sesame oil until well caramelized.
6. Prepare the sauce by mixing Thai sauce, rice vinegar, soy sauce, chili crisps, kimchi juice if used, and sesame oil.
7. Serve the dumplings on a bed of coleslaw, toppings, and sauce. Enjoy!
