The Brutes' Shawarma with Strips

Ingredients
- 1 bag (150 g) of Les Brutes strips
- 2 cups hot vegetable broth
- 1 1/2 to 2 tablespoons of Fattoush Girls Shawarma Spices
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 small clove of minced garlic (optional but wow)
- 1 tsp maple syrup (optional – for a toasted effect)
Preparation
- Rehydrate
Pour 2 cups of hot broth over the strips.
Allow to rise for 8–10 minutes.
Drain lightly (leave some moisture).
- Season
Add :
shawarma spices
olive oil
lemon
garlic
Mix and let stand for 5–10 minutes.
- Cooking
Pan nice and hot (medium-high heat).
Cook for 6–8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- For a "rotisserie" effect:
Add the maple syrup in the last 2 minutes
Let it caramelize lightly
Optional: 2–3 minutes in a 400°F oven
