Creton de PVT - LES BRUTES

Creton from TVP

Ingredients

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 clove of garlic, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 3/4 cups of TVP The Brutes Nature
  • 4 cups of vegetable broth
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Freshly ground pepper
  • 1 cup of quick-cooking rolled oats

Preparation

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, sauté the onion and garlic in oil until softened. Add the TVP, broth, spices, and salt. Using a wooden spoon, stir well. Season with pepper. Cover and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  2. Add the oat flakes. Continue cooking uncovered until all the liquid has evaporated, about 3 minutes.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan, ramekins, or other containers. Cover with plastic wrap, pressing it directly onto the surface of the pâté. Refrigerate for 4 hours or until completely chilled.
